| Institution description | The Department of Environmental Engineering and Physics (DIFA) is a department of the University of Basilicata involved in scientific research activities aimed at: investigating relevant aspects of environmental processes (water, atmosphere, soil), controlling anthropic influences on the environment, developing a deeper knowledge of the processes related to the production, delivery and use of the energy, designing and managing manufacturing systems in order to minimize their impact on the environment and optimise resource allocation/utilization.
