| Institution description | CEAM was created in 1991 under the auspices of the Valencian Autonomous Government and Bancaja, and with the endorsement of the Secretariat of State for Universities and Research and the European Commission (DG XII). It is a Centre of Applied Research, recognized by the CICYT as a Centre for Technological Innovation, and it also operates as an Associate Entity of the CSIC (Spain). The principal objective of CEAM is to obtain data and formulate results on specific problems in the Mediterranean Basin for the purpose of improving the managerial capacity of Spain, and of the Valencian Autonomy, within the European Union. |
