| Institution description | Laboratoire d\' Aerologie is managed by both the University of Toulouse (University Paul Sabatier, Toulouse III) and the CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique). Research topics lie within the following fields: - Dynamical thermodynamical and microphysical processes that govern the meteorological atmosphere, from small scale (cloud convection, boundary-layer) to the synoptic scale, at mid- and tropical latitudes; - Physico-chemistry of the troposphere and low stratosphere: transport, natural and anthropic production, fluxes at interfaces of ozone, nitrogene oxydes, VOC and aerosols; - Coastal oceanography: dynamic, and biogeochemistry, climate variability. Scientific activities of the groups lean on two complementary aspects: modelling and observation. |
