| Description | The workshop on "Active Remote Sensing from Aircraft (ARSA): âPresent status and future needs â, will be organized in Paris on 24th and 25th July 2008, in the frame of the EUFAR Expert Working Groups activities. The objectives of this meeting are the same as for the one initially planned in November 2007 and cancelled. They are to present and discuss recent developments made in the field of active remote sensing from aircraft using lidars and radars for the study of the atmosphere, as well as ocean and land surfaces. Attendees are encouraged to prepare presentations. The perspectives for new generation of instruments will be discussed with respect to scientific needs and results already obtained. Expression of interest for participating and presenting new instrumentation and results obtained from airborne observations are to be sent by mail before July 11th to bureau@eufar.net. |
