European Facility For Airborne Research

The major objective of the workshop is to summarize the state of the art in the area of aerosol, clouds, and radiation measurements using aircraft as measurement platform and how to use/develop the available capabilities of the EUFAR to support satellite remote sensing validations in this area. The final goal of the workshop is to come up with a set of recommendations for needed developments for the
European fleet. To do so, we need to bring together scientists from the satellite and the aircraft communities, who would review current and planned activities in both fields and debate requirements, possible developments and common activities.
